SOME TIPS FOR ACTION AGAINST GRAFFITI
• Businesses dealing with spray cans should secure these items in order to reduce the opportunities for theft.
• Posters circulated around businesses to warn people about the consequences of graffiti.
• Encourage members of the community to report incidents of malicious damage to police through the Police Assistance Line (PAL) phone: 131444 (24 hr service).
• Provide information anonymously by reporting to Crime Stoppers on toll free number: 1800 333 000 or contact Mosman Police Station on 02 9969 1933.
• Encourage members of the community to report incidents of malicious damage to Councils when located on public property.
• Police conduct Community Safety Audits of areas to identify community safety issues and develop strategies to reduce problems.
• Incorporate graffiti resistant materials on structures to reduce opportunities for graffiti.
